THEATRE MAGAZINE Vol 43 (1926)    Dec 5, '09 10:08 PM
by David for group historicalziegfeld #194

Arthur Hornblow replaced Maurice Goldberg with Florence Vandamm Studio in 1926. Florence would show portraits, usually in costume rather than modern dress; her husband Tommy produced production stills. This year marked the first appearance of Irving Chidnoff, who quickly established a powerful modern studio.

From Palm Beach, Florenz Ziegfeld secured the services of Paul Bernay to shoot his Palm Beach Days. Francis Brugiere contributed a number of evocative stage scenes, and not exclusively of the Theatre Guild. Alfred Cheney Johnston appears only in advertisements by large retail business: Bergdorf Goodman.
